WATER SYSTEM PIPING CONTRACTORS
| Excavation and piping contractors do site preparation for us for most of our reservoirs. They clear the site of debris, dig out the top soil down to load bearing soils, replace with gravel up to the final grade and set the pipes to come up through the base. They also compact the gravel and and have it tested for proper compaction. County codes normally require a geotechnical engineer to evaluate the site and confirm that the site soils will hold the reservoir load. The site is normally prepared based on their recommendations for depth of over excavation and structural fill required. Below is a list of contractors who we commonly work with. |
